Site seeing disappoints but wine tasting and guide was good
Bruno A was very good! We liked him a lot. The Port wine tasting and tour was fun! However, the first part of the tour we thought we would be seeing more. We stood in front of the cathedral for an hour without learning very much about it and did not go in. Then we walked through the subway twice (appreciated the short cut) and went to the train station. Not learning the history about the train station but only about the story behind one of the pictures. The story was nice but we expected to see and learn more history and sites than what we did.
Worth the trip
There is a lot of walking up and down the hills / steps of Porto so come prepared. Group size was 8 and about right. A combined Spanish / English tour which our guide (sorry I didn't grab his name but he was great) managed perfectly. A great way to have the various sights of Porto 'stitched' together. We did a lot but we weren't rushed, even managed a trip to Foz. Six bridges boat trip was a little crowded as a number of groups merged but it wasn't cramped.
