Fun night in October with a very knowledgeable guide, Cemetery Larry! Great weather that night and cool interactive elements I wasn’t expecting.
It was fun and informative. Joanna was a great guide and I will definitely be taking the tour again.
I’m torn. The guide was really nice, but honestly this tour was lacking and meandered a lot. We spent a lot of time at places that didn’t have much to do (or see, sometimes) and I found it hard to pay attention. Spent a lot of time on the bus traveling to places and with not a ton of payout at the stops. HH Holmes site was a post office in Englewood since it was torn down, we went to the parking lot of the museum of science and industry, then visited a few houses that were cool looking, but I didn’t really see much correlation to any of the stops. Sure they were all during the same time frame, but don’t think paying $64 to see a post office in Englewood and the parking lot of a museum was worth it. The world’s fair statue replica was covered in plastic for renovation, so we didn’t see that either. The guide was nice but I wouldn’t recommend the tour personally unfortunately.
