Full day trip
We met with our guide, then arrived in Pompeii where another guide along with Two other groups were taken around, very informative guide. Afterwards the group was divided again with another guide on another bus for our lunch and mountain hike. Don’t feel this was communicated well. Lunch was amazing huge pizza. There seemed to be no sense of urgency i felt stressed due to time having to get back to our cruise ship. They did organise separate transport to take us back with 15 mins to spare. Only book if your ship is leaving after 9 pm.
Too rushed and not worth the money
The tour is rushed. We were picked up at 9.30 but had to wait around at Pompeii until 11 when it could have started earlier as everyone was just hanging around. The tour itself was excellent. Then more hanging around which left far too little time at mount Vesuvius. We were driven to mount Vesuvius where we only had a boring lunch of a pizza no other choice. This left only 1 hour 20 minutes to climb up and back on a full stomach of food and lack of time to enjoy the views at the top. Not worth the money unfortunately.
Great day and guides were...
Great day and guides were great. Only thing they could do better is when we finished Pompai, there are multiple groups headed to Mt Visuvio. It was not very clear which bus to get on. We went to meeting point and one guide called for Mt Visuvio but it was not our bus. We got on to then figure out we were on wrong bus. Maybe give a little better information. Otherwise I highly recommend. Great day!

This was a great day trip! Everything was incredibly organized, pickup/drop off was smooth, and our guides were wonderful! Lunch was delicious! I would recommend good shoes for the hike, because it is a bit steep. Overall, a fantastic day!
