It really is as beautiful as the photos!
Mia and Sonja were the loveliest tour guides going - really down to earth, caring for everybody and full of information. They were happy to answer any questions and always wore a smile. The Lakes are stunning and speak for themselves but to be guided through and taken on the best route by Mia and Sonja was invaluable. My only criticism would be that it felt a little rushed with such a big group. But it appeared that people could use this journey from Split/Trogir to link up with a bus going onto Zagreb which all tied in perfectly and the drivers sorted out all the cases for people so it was hassle free and they got to enjoy a beautiful pit stop to explore the lakes half way through their journey.
Plitvice National Park
It involves a lot of walking up and down stairs and walking on wooden planks, but well worth it. The guide was exceptional. He was able to keep track of the large group. He knew a lot of facts and was very person and funny.

Plitvice Lakes
At the park the park for 4&1/2 hours with a half hour break. 4 hours of walking, 5.5 miles in total. If you want to just take pictures it is okay, but if you want to relax around the falls forget it. One bathroom break after 2 hours straight. Militant guide, MIA kept us moving constantly. We are a little bit older and did’t appreciate her attitude and self praising. The park is amazing and I would not skip, but this tour is a selfie tour. At the end she heaps praise on herself and hits the group up for a tip, which I did not mind, then again hits the group up for the driver before we were dropped off. I think this is excessive and she should give the driver some of what she collected before.
Great Experience Overall
Mia & Sanja were very friendly, helpful and informative guides. The tour was well-paced, though would have liked a bit more free time to explore around the big waterfall. Women's LD highly recommend this tour.
