Plitvice Lakes and Rastoke Day Trip

A day trip from Zagreb to the most popular national park and UNESCO World Heritage Site in Croatia, with an optional Zagreb city tour earlier in the morning. Departure is at 11 am from the tourist bus stop in Palmotićeva Street. Earlier in the morning, from 9 am, there is an optional 1.5-hour city tour. It's a perfect combination to tick-off all the Zagreb must-sees and visit the Lakes on the same day. There is a 10€ / 75 HRK extra charge for the city tour that finishes right at the spot from where the Lakes day trip starts.

After a 2.5-hour bus drive, you arrive at Plitvice Lakes. Although an entrance ticket is not included in the price, you have a skip the line entrance. In the next 3 hours, you walk around the crystal clear lakes, take the train ride to the great waterfall and go for a boat ride across the big lake.

Late afternoon drive back to Zagreb ends at the same spot from where the day trip started, in Palmoticeva Street, a minute from the main square.
