Why take this tour?

We will visit the city centre of Pisa in a fascinating walking tour. One of our official tour guides will show you the most exciting highlights of the city from Plaza Garibaldi (Garibaldi Square) to the Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles) also walking along the beautiful riverbank. Why is the Leaning Tower of Pisa still standing? Is it the only tower like this? Why has the ancient port of Pisa disappeared? All these intriguing questions and many more will be answered on our tour. At the end we will enjoy an aperitif together in a classic local bar [?]. We will include the best recommendations on where to eat, what else to visit and what not to miss. Please feel free to contact us at the beginning or end of the tour to tell us what your interests are as our priority is to tailor your experience in Pisa to suit you. About operator:

Enjoy a visit guided in Tuscany by official tour guides specialized in the area. Our activity focus in Pissa and the province. Albamundi was born from my personal initiative, a project I have pursued with commitment and enthusiasm. I collaborate with other cultural associations, tours, restaurants and hotels to offer the quality you deserve. A bit about me… I was born in Jaen (Spain), since I was a child I have always loved History, Archeology and Art. While I was studying for my degree in History of Arts and Archaeology I had the opportunity to do an Erasmus year abroad and of course my choice was…Italy! After returning home and having gained my Master’s degree I won an internship grant to Italy so I came back and I stayed. After studying hard while acquiring relevant work experience (working in places such as the Italian Soprintendenza Archaeologica) I decided to do what I loved most: introducing tourists to the most beautiful place on Earth. Becoming a tour guide and working full time at the same time has not been a bed of roses but it has been 100% worthwhile! I love my job, talking about history and showing the main monuments to interested tourists while getting to know people from all over the world. While I am not at work I like travelling, reading history books, listening to music and watching a good film.
