Pikey Peak is one of the famous vantage points to see the panoramic view including Mount Everest and other mountains in Nepal. From this vantage point, one can see the best sunrise and sunset panoramic view of Everest and more Himalayas range with the deep green valleys.
Pikey peak was a seasonal snowy hill where local Sherpa people go for short hiking trips and to hang the prayer flag on the top. The Pikey named from the name of local Sherpa deity it represents the sky over nature. During the monsoon time, June/July local people Sherpa people worship their god and perform the ceremony by Buddhist Lama and group of Monks.
At present, the pikey peak is one of the most popular short trek destinations of Nepal among the tourist as within 6-day easy hiking, one can get the best view of Himalayas from Dhaulagiri in West to Mt. Kanchenjunga in the east including Everest.
