Phi Phi Island Hopping Speed Boat Tour

We booked the Phi Phi Islands tour with high expectations, especially looking forward to visiting Phi Phi Leh Island – the highlight of the trip in my opinion. Sadly, the time spent there was way too short, and we arrived too late in the day, when the location was already overcrowded with boats and tourists. The place itself is stunning, but our experience was spoiled by the poor timing. This stop should have been longer and scheduled earlier to truly enjoy the beauty and tranquility. Next, we headed to Phi Phi Don Island for snorkeling and lunch. Unfortunately, the snorkeling was extremely disappointing – the coral reef is completely dead, gray and lifeless. The only thing we saw in abundance were sea urchins. After that, we had lunch at Maiyada Restaurant. The food was decent and we had enough time to rest there. The final stop was Khai Nok Island, which I found completely unnecessary. It's a small, overcrowded beach with beach bars and drinks, but no special views or atmosphere. I would have much preferred to spend that time back at Phi Phi Leh, enjoying the breathtaking scenery. The boat was fine and the crew onboard were friendly, but the tour guide for the English-speaking group completely ruined the experience. She was dismissive, unhelpful, and at times rude. Here are just a few examples: During a one-hour stop on an island, my wife and I wanted to return to the boat after 30 minutes. The guide told us we couldn’t, claiming the boat was on the other side of the island. That turned out to be false – the boat was exactly where we had left it. We missed a chance to relax and take photos. At Khai Nok, my wife accidentally left her bag (with her towel and sunglasses) on the boat. She asked if she could go back and get it, but the guide said “No” without any explanation. The boat was right there on the beach, and there was absolutely no reason to refuse. When I asked the guide a simple question about the next snorkeling stop and how long it would last, she told me she wouldn’t answer and that I should just wait. The worst part came when my wife politely told the guide she was speaking too fast and asked her to repeat something. The guide became visibly irritated, started ignoring us, and even mocked us in front of the group. It was extremely unprofessional and humiliating. The atmosphere for the rest of the tour became tense and unpleasant. We had traveled over 9,000 kilometers and spent 22 hours in transit to see this place – this behavior was simply unacceptable. I do not recommend this tour operator. With better planning and respectful, competent staff, this could have been an amazing experience. Unfortunately, it wasn’t.

Great crew. Great food. Greater views!! I truly enjoyed myself; the stops were memorable and the crew were kind and knowledgeable.

Had a guided day trip tour to Phi Phi Islands, by speedboat with ALP Tour! This trip was exceptional! The staff including Captain and crew, plus Jamie as lead guide and his teammate Bestie worked to ensure everyone had clear directions, safe, fun times, and an unforgettable experience. The day's forecast, planed for the adventure, was to be cloudy and possibility of rain. However, the rain never came, instead plenty of sunshine and the seas maintain only a little bit of white caps and chop on the water on the Thai gulf. Jamie and Bestie help put tour group at ease. Captain and crew were phenomenal. The locations we stopped on the tour are Phi Phi Don, Maya Bay, Monkey Island, Bamboo Island, and other stops along the way, for snorkeling around coral reef with plenty of varieties of tropical fish and taking long boats into a lagoon for a dip in the crystal clear turquoise water. This is a experience for a once in a lifetime must do! The photos I had taken do not do this experience and locations justice. You have to experience this and be in the moment during this tour. Book your trip what are you waiting for!

This is a big day of touring - 10 hours + round trip - The hour to and from your west Phuket resort should be added. Boat was of good quality and the pick up, transfers and organisation was all first rate and stress free. The beauty of the islands cannot be under estimated and our guide, and various support workers were all lovely. Phi Phi town was pleasantly surprising, though crowded, with a good lunch in the package on the beach. Couple of smaller island stops were good too and no need to spend extra if you don’t want to. Highly recommended tour.
