One of St. Petersburg's most famous and popular visitor attractions, the palace and park at Peterhof located in 30 km from St. Petersburg (also known as Petrodvorets). It is often referred to as "the Russian Versailles", although many visitors conclude that the comparison does a disservice to the grandeur and scope of this majestic estate.
Peterhof is a jewel of the Russian art, a town of parks, palaces and fountains. The Upper and the Lower Parks are the masterpieces of art of gardening numbering over 150 fountains. The Grand Cascade, which goes downhill from the palace towards the Baltic Sea, is one of the largest fountain ensembles in the world.
The tour is started and finished in the city centre. You will get the place in 45 min by hydrofoil (and the same way back).
