Description

Embark on a journey through Paris' fantastic and fascinating pastry scene. This tour takes you away from the well-known and crowded parts of the city and instead visit a bakery, tea salon,  crêperie, bean-to-bar chocolate shop, and pastry shop that have perfected their art throughout the years. Taste freshly baked pain au chocolat that crumble with every bite and melt in your mouth, smell freshly made chocolate, and hear the unbelievable stories behind some of France's most popular treats. Between bites, slip into the past as you stroll through Paris' hidden passageways. There's no better way to try as many delicious treats as possible in less than three hours!

With so many boulangeries, patisseries, and cafes lining the streets of Paris, it's hard to know where to begin. Put down your guidebook and set off on a tour that'll give you an even deeper love for French pastries and desserts. This tour is short and sweet, so you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the rest of Paris' delights when you're finished.

Kick off your tour with a visit to an award-winning local bakery. You'll try their famous pain au chocolate that's the perfect balance of flakey texture and flavor.

Just a few steps away, tucked inside one of Paris’s historic covered passages, is a small, family-run tea salon with over 20 years of history. You’ll enjoy a freshly made, seasonal cake—perhaps a bright fraisier, a smooth Mont Blanc, or another in-house specialty—while soaking up the atmosphere of this quiet, off-the-beaten-path spot.

After that, you'll embark on a guided stroll of Paris' famous covered passageways to take photos and uncover hidden boutiques and historic cafés. Then, get back to the food at bean-to-bar chocolate shop in the heart of the city. Step into this tiny store and prepare to be hit with the sweet smell of chocolate. Next, you'll taste a Brittany region classic at a beloved crêpe spot: a traditional French crêpe served with a glass of apple cider.

Finish off your tour with a bite into a colorful macaron at a boutique pastry shop that puts a modern twist on French classics. You'll even find out where this iconic French dessert actually comes from. This tour lets you experience an authentic side of Paris that most visitors miss, trying treat after incredible treat at every stop.
