Paraty Rainforest Trek and Secluded Beach Tour

Following pickup at your Paraty hotel, board your comfortable vehicle for the ride to Larajeiras Village. During the 40-minute drive, get to know your local guide and tour group. 

Disembark and start your trek through the forest to the beach. Pass through a preserved area of the rainforest under the protection of the AIPA do Cairuçu (Cairuçu Environmental Protection Area). Your guide will point out different native flora and fauna; keep your eyes open for toucans and monkeys along the way. 

After about an hour's walk, emerge on the powdery sand and crystal-clear water of Praia do Sono (Sono Beach). Grab a cold beer or a snack at one of the local beach restaurants (own expense) as a reward for your jungle trek. Spend several hours romping in the gentle waves and relaxing on the warm sand, soaking up the sun's rays and enjoying the idyllic scenery.

Trek back to Laranjeiras Village, then transfer to your vehicle for drop-off back at your hotel in Paraty.

Hike to the tropical paradise of Praia Do Sono, also known as Sono Beach. Your guided 1-hour trek takes you from Laranjeiras Village through preserved jungle with an experienced guide. Spot wildlife on the river trail en route to the beach, where you’ll enjoy several hours of free time on its powdery sand before trekking back. Translated as Sleepy Beach, this secluded shoreline lives up to its name!
