Start the day with hotel pick up 9am and travel on one of the most scenic drives in New Zealand to Glenorchy at the western end of Lake Wakatipu. Your first stop there is in the "front row" overlooking Isengard from

At lunchtime, have a picnic lunch on the mountain or a cafe lunch at Kinloch nestled by the lake shore a beautiful peaceful setting. The afternoon is spent further exploring a trail above Diamond Lake, there is the opportunity for some walking and an opportunity to see farm activities should they be available on the day.
