Description

This full day amphibious adventure crosses four waterways and edges along the pristine Eurimbula National Park. 
You'll explore inside Queensland's only open, operating lighthouse tower at Bustard Head Lightstation. And discover in the keeper's cottage museum, cemetery and hear the historical stories come to life .
Morning tea, picnic lunch, cold refreshments and billy tea or coffee are included. 
After lunch the LARC vessel will take you across Jenny Lind Creek to the towering 35metre sand dunes for sandboarding, swimming and fun. 
Your day is topped off with wildlife sightings, light-hearted local stories, and delightful pastel colours of the lowering sun signaling the end of another day in Paradise as you return to the 1770 Marina.

No. Moderate fitness is helpful. You’ll climb stairs inside the lighthouse tower and walk through sandy terrain to the cemetery, all of which are optional. Sandboarding and beach activities are optional also.

Can I go into the lighthouse?

Yes, LARC guests can go inside the lighthouse tower and up to the balcony. Although only if you're 8 years or older. For safety reasons, children under 8 cannot enter the lighthouse tower due to building regulations.

What wildlife might I see?

Expect sea eagles, kangaroos, dolphins, crabs, rays and an array of birdlife. Every trip is different, depending on the season and tide.
