Depending on the time of year the actual location of the Papal Audience may alternate. The decision regarding the location of the Papal Audience is made by Vatican officials the day before the event. Regardless of its location within Vatican City our tour guarantees entrance tickets.

The Vatican only permits very small bags, and specifically prohibits large bags, tripods, umbrellas, and backpacks.

• It is the individual responsibility of all visitors to arrive at the tour meeting points 15 minutes prior to the scheduled tour time and present their tour voucher to the tour coordinator/guide.

This dress code is strictly enforced and you will be refused entry if you fail to comply with dress code requirements. City Wonders is not responsible for entry refused due to inappropriate dress.

During the warmer months from approximately Easter week to the end of September the Papal Audience is held outdoors at St. Peter’s Square whereas during the colder months the audience takes place in the Sala of Paul VI within the Leonine Walls of Vatican City. The decision regarding the location of the Papal Audience is made by Vatican officials the day before the event. Regardless of its location within Vatican City our tour guarantees entrance tickets.
• Extra measures may be implemented at some venues due to heightened global security. As a result, we may experience delays in getting through mandatory security checks when entering these venues. Extra measures may also restrict the size of bags that can be brought inside. To avoid disruptions or possible denied entry, we strongly suggest that you avoid bringing large purses, bags, or backpacks on your tour. The Vatican only permits very small bags, and specifically prohibits large bags, tripods, umbrellas, and backpacks. Any such items must be checked into the free luggage storage area which may result in your having to leave the tour early to retrieve them at the entrance.
