If you want to join, the best and closest base is Dujiangyan Panda Base, about 62 kilometers away from Chengdu downtown. Dujiangyan Panda Base is not only a good place to do volunteering work, but also a well-managed base to see numerous pandas at different ages. What will you do in your full day panda volunteer program? The panda volunteering usually lasts from 08:30 to 16:00. Volunteers can turn out to be “Honorable Keeper”, “Panda Nutritionist” and “Love Feeder” to take care of the cuddly giant pandas. Most importantly, you have got twice chances to feed the pandas in very close distance.It will definitely be rare precious experience in your whole life. This tour includes private car transferring to the base from Chengdu/back to Chengdu, private tour guide, lunch and etc. (Note: Health Examination Certificate is needed before taking this program.)
