Settle into an air-conditioned minivan and travel to the Dubai Marina Yacht Club where the Sea Breeze, your gleaming modern speedboat waits. Step on deck and drink in the views of the Jumeirah high-rises as your vessel sails out on to the sparkling Persian Gulf. Then, enjoy the cooling coastal winds as the fittingly named Sea Breeze gathers speed, reaching up to 40 miles (64 km) per hour. Cut through the waves and keep refreshed with the unlimited complimentary water and sodas on board. Grab your camera and snap photos of the Palm Jumeirah as your skipper steers toward the beautiful, man-made archipelago. Designed in the shape of a palm tree, each curving frond of the island is lined with expensive villas and residential complexes overlooking the water. Jet around the different fronds and keep your camera poised as you reach the outer fringes of the Palm — home to the monumental Atlantis The Palm.
