Palermo, walk in the old city and street food tasting

You will start in the main square of the old town, "Quattro canti", where you will see works of art from the Spanish era. Then you will go to Piazza Pretoria, where the enchanting fountain of shame is located. This beautiful work of art represents the power and importance of Palermo during the 16th century. The next stop will be the interior of the town hall from which you can enjoy a view of the UNESCO sites, such as the church of San Cataldo, characterized by three red domes, and the Martorana church, the gem of the Arab-Norman style. Then you will walk through the main street of the center, Vittorio Emanuele where the Cathedral is located; it is an example of various architectural styles from remote eras. Eventually you will go to the Capo market, a test of the connections with Arab culture, and it is also the best place to do street food tastings. After the lunch break you will visit the precious baroque church "Immacolata Concezione". Finally you will go to the Opera House known as the "Teatro Massimo"
