The great Zulu king, Shaka was born in this valley around the year 1787 circa; 7 Zulu Kings are also buried here. The final item of the day is an overnight experience at a Zulu Cultural village. This cultural village is a unique resort built amid thorn trees and aloes, comprising a traditional Zulu "Umuzi” or homestead, where the Zulu people reside as well as a separate area consisting hotel rooms.
