You tour begins with an evening pickup from the center of Tromso. Meet your guide and settle in for the journey to Kvaloya.
Upon arrival, embark on a reindeer-pulled sled ride. Under close supervision from the herder-guide, you can feed the reindeer afterward. Next, it's time to warm up inside the lavvu. Enjoy a delicious meal of traditional stew along with hot drinks. As you eat, your Sámi guide shares stories about the culture of the Sámi people and their tradition of reindeer herding.
With luck, the northern lights soon appear in the sky. After marveling at the colors of nature's greatest light show, head back into your warm lavvu and settle in for a cozy night sleeping on reindeer hides topped with insulating sleeping bags.
Enjoy breakfast in the morning before journeying back to Tromso, where your tour concludes with a drop-off back at the original departure point.
