THE WHANGAROA HARBOUR EXPLORATION

This beautiful harbour has so many things to see and do an extended overnight trip is a great way to fully experience the magic of Whangaroa. After 15 years of guiding here we know where to take you. Take all the highlights from the day trip above but now we have more time so we can do so much more! We will stay at the charming Lanes Cove cottage for the night nestled in the native forest, towering waterfalls and right on the shore. Fishing and shellfish collecting to add to our evening meal, prepared with local organic produce and after dark spy the glow worms sparkling through the stream. We will add in whatever interests the group. Kayak up a beautiful bush clad river system and have a freshwater swim in the morning. Take a bushwalk or just soak up the serenity of Ranfurly bay. No houses, no roads, just forest, birds and mirror calm waters. If conditions are perfect, we may pop out the harbour entrance to view beautiful sea caves and have a snorkel.
