DAY 1: Flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia - Full day guided tour

Short flight from Istanbul Ataturk Airport to Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport. Your guide and driver will meet you at the airport and drive to Cappadocia region (approx. 45 minutes). The tour will begin with a panoramic view point in Goreme. You will be able to see The Pigeon Valley, Rose and Red Valleys, Goreme and Uchisar Villages from this point. After driving about 30 minutes, you will visit Kaymakli Underground City which is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Cappadocia. The most impressive aspect of the Kaymaklı Underground City is the organised, structured and very well thought nature of the entire city. After experiencing the life underground, you will drive you to Pigeon Valley to see Uchisar Castle and the valley from a panoramic point.

You will have our lunch at a local restaurant in Avanos. You will then watch the kick-wheel pottery demonstration in Avanos which is a traditional craft in the area. Later, visit Pasabag (Monks Valley) which is also known as mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys. The fairy-chimneys in Pasabag are the best-protected ones in the area. Finally, you will visit Devrent Valley in which you will see the camel-shaped fairy chimney and much more different shapes than usual. After the tour transfer to your cave hotel. DAY 2: Full day Cappadocia tour - Flight back to Istanbul

Optional: Hot Air Balloon flight in the early morning can be a good start the day with sunrise.

You will be picked up at 9:30am from your hotel and start the exploring the Red Valley and Rose Valley in which you will be able to see lots of pigeon houses and beautiful rock-cut churches. Then, drive to Cavusin Village which is an abandoned village with amazing views. You will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and taste the local dishes.

After lunch, you will visit Goreme Open Air Museum which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. You will see the best-preserved rock-cut churches in Cappadocia area. And then you will go to carpet cooperative and meet with local young girls who are weaving carpets for their wedding ceremonies as a investment of dowry. You will get detailed information of ”Cappadocia hand-made carpets” and see all of their processes which is normally unallowable. The tour will end around 5:00pm and then you will be driven to the airport for your flight back to Istanbul.
