Departing from Marrakech at 8 am, we enter the Haouz plain through many villages. This excursion to the Ouzoud Waterfalls can be done all year round by passing through the village of Ouzoud and light hiking and discovering the Ouzoud waterfalls. In summer it is particularly popular and it is in spring that the waterfall is most spectacular due to the melting snow. Ouzoud waterfalls: 170 km from Marrakech is one of the most beautiful sites in the Middle Atlas, where sumptuous waterfalls, haloed by an almost permanent rainbow, rush from a height of 110 m into a basin of limestone rocks in the middle of lush vegetation. It is possible to bathe at the foot of the waterfalls, accessible by a shady path strewn with olive trees.

At the top of the falls, a stone's throw from the impressive chasm, are a dozen small ancient grain mills, still operating thanks to the water from the torrent. At dusk, whole families of monkeys can be seen heckling in the carob trees, those large trees with tasty fruits that they love. A hundred magot macaques, with beige hair and eyes surrounded by a black line, have in fact taken up residence in the caves of the cliffs.
