After pickup in Glasgow or just outside Edinburgh (depending which option you select), your first stop is Doune Castle, the filming location for Castle Leoch (and also a star of Game of Thrones). Next, travel to Falkland, a small Fife town that stood in for Inverness, and then to Midhope Castle, which doubled as Lallybroch. If Midhope is closed for entry, you’ll instead visit Hopetoun House, the home of the show’s Duke of Sandringham. Along the way, see the magnificent Scottish landscape and learn about the nation's history and culture. Learn some Gaelic sayings from your guide, and enjoy "a wee dram" of Scotch whisky.
