“Bush tucker, experience at The Edge Retreat is the only Aboriginal cooking and learning off the land experience in Hepburn Spring Region,

This unique culture takes you through their history through food, bushcraft, and land. Many visitors having the opportunity to experiment with bush tucker food. Introducing our native bush tucker garden and cooking to other different cultures. It is a way to understand it's people.

“You learn how to cook with fruits, nuts, yams,” “You have a chance to taste your own cooked meats –kangaroo, yabbies. using such herbs like lemon myrtle, quandongs, finger limes. This teaching and tour is sacred law to the Dja Dja Wurrung People and Tuaggra region.

We start you off doing a small group ceremony and tour to see 4 special sacred sites that most people in this area are unaware are here. Learn how very special and old this land is. We finish this tour off with a 3-course meal you prepare. To taste the bush Such a diverse way to learn this culture.

  • Aboriginal Rock Wells in Victoria. Bull Gully Rock Wells consists of four holes dug into sandstone.
  • Due to the food you will be cooking is so rich and there will be plenty. We dont need to provide snacks. However if you feel you will still feel hungry. Please provide our own snacks.
