the Black desert . With it’s dozens and dozens of small black-topped bills of volcanic material it is an interesting contrast to the White
desert. On our way there we pass Crystal Mountain, a Ridge
of sparkling quartz crystals. We continue our ride and reach the beautiful Aqabat Valley which is known for its scores of sugar loaf rocks.
After enjoying this wonderful valley we come to the highlight
of our tour, the White Desert National Park. The wind has
eroded white chalk monoliths into surreal forms. In these forms
you can see human faces, animals, mushrooms, dwarfs,
kissing couples and a lot more which depends on your imagination.
On the Second day we do have breakfast at 7.00 hours, so we have
a lot of Time to explore this outstanding part of the Egyptian desert,
with it’s extraordinary sculptures and sceneries formed by eons of
time.
