Olumo Rock and Obasanjo Presidential Library Tour

At the top of the Olumo Rock, you will be able to see the amazing blue skies, the vegetation and just revel in the beauty of nature. If you love nature, scenery with some peace and quiet, this is for you ⁣

Olumo is actually derived from “Oluwalomo” meaning “God benevolently molded this rock for

our refuge”. In the 19th Century, Olumo Rock served as a rock of offense and a fortress for the people of Egba Land where it housed the Egba warriors for 3 years.

Enjoy the natural and panoramic view of the ancient city of Abeokuta from the top of Olumo rock. Explore the museum with interesting artifacts. At the base of the rock, there is an Art gallery that feautures some local artworks.

At the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, there is also an inspirational and aspirational section of the museum where kids can put on the clothing of different professions and then take a picture of themselves.
