Why take this tour?

Guests on the Old Town Happy Hour Walking Tour will experience Panamanian culture and history through its cocktails. We'll start the tour at one of the city's hottest restaurants with a cocktail made by a master mixologist and sample a dish by one of Panama's top chefs. Next, we'll have rooftop cocktails with 360º views of Casco Viejo as the sun is setting. Afterward, we'll have a rum tasting at a craft-rum bar and a drink from a list of cocktails named after key moments and characters in Panama's history. We'll end the evening partying like it's 1799 with sangria and Spanish tapas while admiring a vintage car collection. During the tour, you’ll learn some of Panama’s intriguing history and gain a sense as to why it came to be how it is today. You will also taste the difference of its seasonal produce such as fresh mango, award-winning pineapple, prized coffee, potent seco and sought-after rum. However, the biggest takeaway will probably be the connections you'll make with locals.
