Why take this tour?
The Trolltunga hike requires participants to be in good physical condition. It is not suitable for those with troublesome knees. Please inform us of medical conditions like asthma, epilepsy, etc.
We encourage you to join the information meeting at Trolltunga Hotel in Odda, held daily at 21:00hrs / 9:00pm. Here, the guides inform about the hike, equipment needed, the weather forecast, and more.
Trolltunga Hike adventure information:
Duration approx. 8 - 12 hours.
Distance: 2 x 14 km, with an 800m ascent.
Meet at the Trolltunga Active Base in Skjeggedal at 07:30.

Our partner hotel Trolltunga Hotel offer free shuttle transport to the Trolltunga Active Tours when staying in the hotel in the shoulder season: The shuttle runs between 16th of February to 15th of June, then operates again from 15th of September until 1st of December.
During the main season, 15th June-15th Sept, public transportation replaces the hotel shuttle to the Trolltunga Active base. The stop for the public shuttle is 100 m from the Hotel.
How to get to Odda from Bergen:
Bus 930 is a good option for traveling from Bergen to Odda. The bus departs from Bergen Busstasjon and ends at Odda Busstasjon. The bus departs once a day at 9:00 PM on weekdays and takes about 3 hours.
