- Wheelchairs, motorised scooters or any other device to assist mobility are not recommended, as we cannot guarantee: that all footpaths/sidewalks/curbs will have suitable ramps.

- Please be aware that due to the recent re opening of Notre Dame the Cathedral is extremely popular causing wait times to increase. This is completely out of our control.
- Please wear comfortable shoes as this tour involves a fair amount of walking, including over uneven surfaces, cobblestones, hills, inclines, declines and stairs.

Do NOT use this provider!
The tour provider sent an email that our originally booked 9 am departure was changed to 2:45 pm. No explanation was offered. We had to juggle all the other booked tours that day to try to make this work, but failed due to earlier issues with other Viator contractors. This has been a consistent problem with Viator contracted tour providers; changing times or cancelling booked /paid tours last minute and keeping the money. I've used Viator and Trip Advisor for years all over the world. They have changed and are not to be trusted. TRAVELER BEWARE.

We very much enjoyed our walk around the island with Rene. She was a wealth of knowledge and helped get abetter understanding of the history of the site, the architecture, and the historical significance of the place to the people of Paris.

Our tour guide Sania had such an organized way of presenting information. She previewed what we would see and what to look for when we were inside Notre Dame as we walked. As we waited in line, she continued to explain various things about the history, construction and rebuilding. She was excellent at sharing the meaning of the symbolism and shared photos to help us understand better in an interesting way. Our group was a nice size and Sania our tour guide was excellent. I would highly recommend this tour if you want to learn about Notre Dame, its history and the history of the surrounding area.
