Your evening begins with pickup at your Reykjavik hotel by small car or minibus. From there, head out deep into the darkened countryside where your tour guide scouts the sky for the first signs of the aurora borealis. When your guide finds the best place for viewing the northern lights, you have plenty of opportunities to get out of the car to view and snap some photos of the dancing lights. Make sure to dress warmly and bring along a few extra layers since you stand outside to view the lights.
