Mangrove Tunnels At Noosa Heads: The only kayak tour operating right in the middle of Noosa Heads, discover the secret waterways and local wildlife here in Noosa.
Explore a globally recognised Noosa Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO site dedicated to conserving biodiversity and promoting sustainable development.
Paddle through a variety of ecosystems, including mangrove forests, salt marshes, and seagrass beds, each supporting a rich array of marine and plant life.
Encounter an abundance of wildlife, rays, crabs, native bees, snakes and especially bird species such as the majestic Osprey, the colourful Rainbow Bee-eater, and the elusive Mangrove Kingfisher.
The tour begins at the serene hidden waterways right in the heart of Noosa Heads, a stunning mangrove ecosystem known for its perfectly calm, shallow waters and rich biodiversity. The name “Weyba” comes from the Aboriginal word for “Stingray,” and with so many of these graceful creatures calling the creek home, you’ll quickly see why.
As we paddle, you’ll float through enchanting mangrove tunnels. These natural pathways, created by dense mangrove growth along the edges and over the tops of narrow creeks and lakes, are a surreal and mystical experience.
There is a nice spot along the way where we will stop so you can have a quick and refreshing swim. This is totally optional though!
We can pick you up from locations in Noosaville and Noosa Heads!
