Depart from the marina, heading south through the Nichupte Lagoon, while enjoying a cold drink. Before reaching the coral reef, cruise through the scenic mangrove channels, home to crocodiles, crabs and a variety of birds.
Upon arriving at the snorkeling platform, anchored at open sea and right next to the Nizuc Reef, put on your mask, fins, and lifejacket, and splash in for an exciting snorkel exploration. Follow your guide across the surface, observing the fascinating, colorful corals and tropical fish.
To make the experience even more memorable, check out the sculptures of the world-famous Underwater Museum, scattered across the sea bottom. Back on the platform, relax under the sun before hopping in for some more snorkeling on your own.
