Ninh Binh Highlights Day Trip from Hanoi

Our Guide was phenomenal. Smart, quick wit, compassionate explanations, knowledgeable, a cultural translator with command of the English language. His choices of length of time and exertion paired with climate and weather reflected his care for our group of 8 and range of ages & stamina. He was thoughtful and intentional in answering questions as well as generous and appreciated by businesses and vendors we interfaced with. The relationship with the mini-bus driver further exemplified his respect for safety as well as appreciation for his colleague. The trip design is rich and although a full day in length, it was entirely worth choosing to learn of this region and Vietnamese history alongside the practices of the current time period and broader scale impacts of choices. The landscapes we actively toured and activities we participated in were as important as they were pleasurable in our Vietnam journey!

I was traveling through Hanoi for work and found this tour an incredible way to get to experience a bit of the beauty and history of the area in only one day. Our guide was Phong, and he was fantastic. He brought great energy and enthusiasm without ever being pushy, and combined great historical/cultural knowledge of the places we visited along with his own personal experience in an incredibly sincere manner. I did this tour with a work colleague, but was already thinking this tour (and Phong) would provide a great experience if I can come back with my wife and 6 year old. The hike up to the overlook was not easy (steep by not crazy long and spots to break along the way), but I think it would be manageable even for my kid…so whether you’re on your own, with a group of adults, or visiting with kids, I would definitely recommend.

We had the best time touring Ninh Binh with Phong. He was considerate, informative and extremely helpful. This tour trip was the best we had!

We had great day out to Ninh Binh with the selected attractions. With an early early start, we were able to avoid the crowds and the array of activities such as the mountain climb, boat ride and cycling made it more interesting and still physically comfortable. Our guide Foang was super friendly, enthusiastic and informative. He was considered and took great care care of the whole small group. The limo bus was very plush and comfortable, and really appreciated the driver to pick us up close to where we finished our tour, right after cycling, where he had to manoeuvre through narrow village lane and a right angle corner. Great epic day out tour and highly recommended.

Phong Nguyen was awesome and did a fantastic job in the tour for Hanoi: Ninh Binh tour. He has shown great leadership and excellent communication skills also being considerate or others and including everyone into the tour and no one left behind, creating a welcoming environment for everyone and has displayed great knowledge and fantastic behaviour for his customers and locals. I would advise that Phong Nguyen to have more future jobs down his career and to share more of his experience with others. Yet again, thank you Phong Nguyen.
