Make your way to the Hua Lamphong MRT station, where you’ll meet a local guide for your evening departure. Get an introduction to Chinatown cuisine as you walk into the bustling neighborhood, which was founded by Chinese merchants in the late 18th century.
You’ll visit a series of 12 street food stalls to taste some Chinatown specialties, exploring the way that local cooks blend Thai and Chinese flavors to create the neighborhood's characteristic cuisine. The menu will include some small-bites dim sum, peppery soup with crispy pork, seafood prepared with a Thai “killer sauce”, and bitter tea, which many locals drink for it’s healthful properties. Your guide will share stories about Chinatown history and culture along the way, and you’ll stop by some Chinatown landmarks, including Wat Tri Mitr, the Temple of the Golden Buddha.
At the end of the walking tour, walk back to the Hua Lamphong MRT station, where the evening concludes.
