Wonderful to do in the evening, less crowded. Good for all ages, even kids. Hits all the major sights.
We did an early morning tour with Lorenzo. This was definitely the highlight of our quick stop in DC on the way home from Spring Break. Lorenzo was very knowledgeable and we had a great time. The 7 am tour was perfect for photos of all monuments and buildings! There was no one around and traffic was minimal!
Dr. Cook was fantastic. Would definitely book with them again. He was fun and extremely knowledgable. would highly recommend.

Unforgettable tour
This tour was actually exceptional, We had Katherine as our guide who was extremely knowledgable not just on the rich history of jazz in New Orleans, but also, as a local, on the best locations to enjoy some of that music. Katherine’s showmanship made the experience very immersive, playing hand picked songs, appropriate songs for every story she told us about, but what was most valuable was her extensive knowledge. She did not shy from the darker sides of the history surrounding the music either, and told it in a very respectful, informative and uplifting manner. We learned some great spots from her on this tour, and she even bought a drink from her own pocket in one location. We have since frequented these locations on our holiday. I can’t thank Katherine enough for adding to our holiday and making it so unforgettable, and can’t recommend this tour enough if you are a lover of jazz, music, history or simply want to find some of the best spots to relax in the city.

My experience was great, and I thoroughly enjoyed the historical background of all the influential Black American jazz artists that pioneered jazz to be what it is today. The length of our tour was as expected. The admission fee was also reasonable including a drink of our choice at one of the jazz clubs. In between 2 of them, Catherine walked us through the French Quarter and gave recommendations on jazz clubs in NOLA. I also enjoyed the historical context of certain landmarks and statues of jazz pioneers in Louis Armstrong Park, I highly recommend participating on this tour on Sundays with Catherine, because of the special sight you’ll get to experience!
Adam was a knowledgeable...
Adam was a knowledgeable and passionate guide. Starting in the park, we were able to hear some historic recordings and track the history of the jazz sound around prolific musicians. I would recommend this tour to lovers of music and history.
