A unique experience that will take you into the heart of a genuine Currently the Domus Aurea consists of the pavilion on the Oppian Hill, where you can admire the Nymphaeum, the Golden Vault Room and the large Octagonal Room. A visit to the Domus Aurea is a unique experience thanks to a site-specific immersive reality and video-based project which enhances the experience with multimedia installations such as the videomapping of large surfaces. During your trip you can watch a “sensory” projection in the entrance hall. EXHIBITION "RAFFAELLO AND THE INVENTION OF THE GROTTESCHE" from 23 June 2021 to 7 January 2022 is offered free of charge. A unique experience that will take you into the heart of a genuine archaeological dig where you can observe the recovery and restoration phases ‘live’ and at the same time relive the dreams of a somewhat “extravagant” emperor.
