From Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote, to Lope de Vega, you will pass by the places they lived and the stories they left behind, along with their literary legacy. Starting at the Plaza de las Cortes, your narrator will bring to life the Madrid of the past through the lives of these great artists. On Cervantes Street he will help you identify the house where Lope de Vega and Cervantes lived. You will continue on to Góngora y Quevedo and learn about the famous scandalous anecdote that happened one morning in 1601, in a house that caught the attention of the whole neighborhood. You will also pass In front of the Convent of the Trinitaria in Lope de Vega Street, where artists have gathered In Francisco de Quevedo’s house. Your tour ends in Huertas Street.
