Meet your local adventure guide at the dock in the River North neighborhood behind the East Bank Club. This tour operates on Wednesday and Saturday nights from May to early September.
Choose a double or single kayak; double kayaks are best for beginners and single kayaks are suitable for experienced paddlers. Listen to a short safety briefing and orientation, then launch your kayaks into the Chicago River as twilight falls.
Follow your guides down the river through the bustling center of downtown. Watch the city skyline glide by as you paddle, arriving at Navy Pier in time for the fireworks display. Float peacefully at the mouth of the river, the best seat in the house. Watch as the fireworks explode overhead and are reflected in the water around you.
After the spectacular display, paddle your kayak back through the illuminated city to your starting point, where your tour ends.
