Why take this tour?

Looking for sloths in the rain forest. You will meet with the naturalist guide at 8:00 am in front of the catholic church La Fortuna, from here we will drive 10 minutes to star our tour. An easy and fun walk to find these beautiful creatures, the sloth is one of the most sought after animals by our visitors which has led them to become a national symbol. We have designed a special tour to be able to observe as many sloths as possible in a short period of time, visiting their favorite habitats with the help of a professional naturalist guide, you will be able to observe, photograph, learn about the natural history and conservation of these animals. An educational trip where families with small children and teenagers will also find lots of fun and learn about nature conservation. Note: This tour does not include transportation service but it can be organized with an additional cost if you require it.

We will all meet with the naturalist guide at 5:40 pm at Ecocentro Danaus. The best way to explore the forest at night to see amazing animals and learn to preserve nature, with professional guides that will make your trip safe. We will walk in a Biological Reserve that develops conservation programs, training environmental education, sustainable use of the land and production. There are trails through secondary forest, where you can see in his natural habitat a wide variety of plants and animals: butterflies, alligators and iguanas, basilisks, two and three toed Sloths, the poisonous red frog, the red-eyed tree frog, and birds are easily observed on all tours. An educational trip where families with small children and teenagers will also find lots of fun and learn about nature conservation. The walk on this trail is about 1 km with a time of 2 hours on a very comfortable path.
