Join Aula and our artisan partners from Pichinku for an intimate experience of natural dyeing in the Sacred Valley of Cusco. Nestled in the small town of Calca and set against the dramatic peaks and fertile farmland of the valley, the Pichinku workshop is dedicated to creating plant dyes using materials and techniques practiced in the Cusco region for thousands of years. You’ll spend the day with Pichinku’s all-female team of natural dye experts, learning from the masters about the local dye plants, foraging for your materials, processing them according to traditional local practices and creating a range of all-natural, vibrant dyes.
