Description

The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, often hailed as the "Super Bowl of Rodeo," is a high-octane, ten-day championship held every December at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. Since moving to the city in 1985, the NFR has become a legendary fixture on the Las Vegas Strip, crowning the world champions of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.

The event features only the top 15 money-earners in each discipline—from the bone-jarring bareback and bull riding to the lightning-fast precision of barrel racing and steer wrestling. The NFR is a gruelling 10-round marathon with massive nightly payouts that directly impact the race for the coveted gold buckle, representing the world title.

The venue itself, located on the UNLV campus, transforms into a thunderous, 17,000-seat "Cowboy Town" that has sold out every performance for decades. The entire city of Las Vegas leans into its “Western routes”, creating an unforgettable atmosphere, unmatched across the rodeo world.
