Napier Half-Day Wine Beer and Cider Tour

Highlights

  • You will be collected from your Napier accommodation (free) or any local point on the day. You will firstly drive out into Wine country to the Cider House. Here you will receive a tray of Ciders (glasses not small samples) between 2 of you. You will then drive to the oldest Winery in New Zealand and receive a tasting flight of wines, normally  7 generous samples each. Following on from here you will visit the second of the two Wineries and take the tour around the Winery learning the Wine making process from the Vines to the bottle. You will also go deep inside the old fermentation tanks and see the previous "high tide" or level stains still visible on the walls. Here they continue the explanation of the wine making process from yesteryear and continue down to the Cellars. This really is a "wow" tour. Then back up to the fantastic Cellar for another flight of Wines. From there you are taken to the final stop being the Ale House where you will receive a tray of glasses of Beer or Cider from their range. Once here, you receive three "glasses" of your choice each. After the completion of this portion, you can be returned back to your accommodation or anywhere within the CBD. This is a very informative tour with many unique photo opportunities. see the attached images.
