For example, “simba” is the Swahili word for lion and “pumba” means warthog. “Hakuna matata” really does translate to “no worries” – a symbolic saying that reflects the easygoing nature of the local people. Tanzania runs on a relaxed rhythm, an informal and welcoming way of life that’s very different from the high-pressure, high-tempo Western world.
