About operator:

Experience Nairobi with city's best storytellers, former street children brought up in Downtown. Your guides Donga, Kissmart, Cheddaz and Mrembe come from Mathare, one of the biggest slums in Nairobi. All of them dropped out of primary school and raised themselves at an early age in the streets. They will make you experience their former “home” by inspiring you with their life stories, showing you how they survived through begging and hustling, teaching you their street skills and giving you the real insights. Even more important, they will share with you how they transformed to reasonable young men, how they look back on their former lifestyle and how they are nowadays trying to improve the situation of their families and friends. Nobody will be able to give you these insights the way they do. The tour is one-on-one (max. two guests per guide) to facilitate an inspiring exchange between you and your guides and to give you the opportunity to ask all your questions.
