The Nagarkot View Tower is a magnet for nature lovers who reach there to capture the scenes of rising sun in the morning and when it is setting in the evening. Be it the majestic view of the rows of snowcapped mountains or the birds eye view of the Kathmandu Valley seen from the View Tower located at the highest point of Nagarkot, tourists adore the views. 

After breakfast at Nagarkot, we hike to Changunarayan via Telkot

Changunarayan Temple - the oldest temple in Kathmandu valley- is a world heritage site in recognition of exquisite stone, wood, and metal craft. Located about 22 km east of Kathmandu, Changunarayan Temple is constructed in Pagoda style and is decorated with ten incarnations of Narayan or Lord Vishnu.

From Changunarayan, we will drive to Bhaktapur for Sightseeing tour.

Bhaktapur

Bhaktapur is famous for its culture, religious, and historical heritage, which is also known as Bhadgaun as well as city of God. This ancient city lies (13km) on the eastern part of Kathmandu Valley that is situated at the elevation of 1400m/4600ft above the sea level. Many people consider this city as a museum due to its rich in ancient arts, fabulous cultural traditions, religious values, architectural masterpieces and ancient sculptures. 

We will drive back to Kathmandu

The route from Bhaktapur to Changunarayan and to Nagarkot provides spectacular and interesting views of the country side and the mountains.

The temple of Changunarayan is the oldest temple found till date in Nepal and is dedicate to Lord Vishnu.  It is an impressive temple situated on top of a small hill, which is approximately 16 kms from Kathmandu.

The trip has been combined with the  sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur. An hour of walk or 20 minutes of drive from Bhaktapur takes you to the temple courtyard.
