Meet your guide and group at the exit to the Sahil metro station in Baku at 12 p.m. on the day of your tour. Head for the day's first stop, the ancient Zoroastrian temple of Ateshgah, located about 18 miles from the Baku city center, in the suburb of Surakhany. As you travel, learn about the temple and its unique burning natural gas outlets. Explore the temple to learn about the fire religion and its history in the Caucasus.
Move on to Yanar Dag, the most famous 'eternal flame' in Azerbaijan; it was lit in the 1950s by a shepherd on the side of the hill. It is one of the few fire mountains that exist today the world over.
After your 3-hour tour, return to your original departure point for drop-off.
