Why take this tour?
Tour will start with Baku panorama viewing at Upland Park and visiting the Alley of Martyrs. Next to the Alley there is Baku business & hotel complex «Flame Towers Baku» – a new business card of the city. Then tour will continue with visiting Old City. Icheri Sheher (Old City), known as a “fortress” – is a unique historical and architectural conservation area in the center of Baku. This is one of the ancient and densely populated places of the country and even of the Middle East. The Maiden Tower (the 12th century) and the Shirvanshahs’ palace (the 13th-16th century) are well-known historical monuments also locate in Old City. Tour will end with visiting Heydar Aliyev Centre – this beautiful building was designed by world famous architecture Zaha Khadid and opened in 2012. Guests will see several exhibitions inside the centre and take memorable photo outside of the unique building.
