Enjoy a truly unique experience at the steps of the ancient Greek world. From the best theatre of the world in Epidaurus, in honor of Asclepius, the father of Medicine to Mycenae and the ancient King Agamemnon! Begin your day trip with a pickup of our luxurious car or Mini Van/Bus, at your Athens hotel or from a central location. Admire the scenery as you trace the coast of the Saronic Gulf into the Peloponnese. After around 1.5 hours, arrive at the ancient hilltop city of Mycenae and enjoy a walking of the ruins of this once powerful settlement. Walk around the ruins of the city that was ruled by King Agamemnon, and view highlights such as the Palace, Tomb of Agamemnon and Lion’s Gate. From Mycenae we will go to Nafplio for lunch. After your lunch we will start our trip to the Sanctuary of Asclepius and Theater of Epidaurus, one of the most visited ancient sites in Greece. The theater date from the 4th century and feature masterpieces of classical Greek architecture.
