My Son day trip from Da Nang

We had a wonderful day exploring My Son with our very knowledgeable guide Owen. We leaned all about the history of the ancient civilisations who lived in this area of central Vietnam. We also had fun learning a few Vietnamese words and how to pronounce them as we drove to My Son. The tour included a short stop at somewhere rice paper was being made, which was super interesting. Owen guided us around the My Son complex, explaining about the different temples, why they were there, what they were used for, and the meanings of different religious symbols, We stopped on the way back to Da Nang for lunch, which was very nice. For the rest of the drive back we shared with each other some music that we liked which was a great, fun end to the tour.

Had a very informative day with Luan as our guide. Explained a lot of the history and was great with all his tour group. Great photos and well worth the trip especially being early and first there. Beat the crowds and almost beat the heat
