After hotel pickup in Seoul, you’ll visit several filming locations for the smash hit Korean TV drama My Love from the Star, starting your full-day tour at Petite France. Departing Seoul for the countryside aboard the coach, your guide explains a romantic scene shot at the French-themed village, when the alien hero Do Min-jun uses his supernatural powers to kiss pop star Cheon Song-yi.
On arrival, take an hour to explore the charming boutiques, art galleries and eateries showcasing French food, clothing and architecture. You’ll either have lunch here or eat bulgogi (grilled marinated beef) or bibimbap (a signature rice dish) at a restaurant on your return to the city.
Back in central Seoul, you’re driven to N Seoul Tower (aka Namsan Tower or Seoul Tower), perched atop Namsan Mountain. The 775-foot-tall (236-meter) landmark — where scenes from the couple’s date were cast — marks Seoul’s highest point. Look over the cityscape and Han River from the tower's Digital Observatory, with provides 360-degree views.
Next up is Namsan Hanok Village, where you’ll enjoy a 40-minute walking tour among the traditional Korean homes, called hanok. Peer inside to see where particular TV scenes were filmed, including when Do Min-jun confesses to a doctor that he came from a faraway star. (Please note: On Tuesdays your tour goes to Bukchon Hanok Village, where hundreds of hanok date back to the Joseon Dynasty.)
You’ll then have approx. 30 minutes to spend browsing international luxury brands at the Shilla Duty Free Shop or Lotte Duty Free Shop in downtown Seoul. Perhaps you’ll be inspired by the look that the famous actress Jeon Ji-hyun popularized in My Love from the Star with her fashionable apparel and hair accessories.
Afterward, you will be dropped off at the K-Live Hologram Performance Hall or your hotel.
Please note: A minimum of two people per booking is required.
